The judging committee proposes splitting Class D (1970–1979) into D1 (1970–1974) and D2 (1975–1979), because the field has grown to thirty-one cars and the two halves of the decade are not really comparable.

Bought a set of five 60-spoke chrome wires from a well-known online seller. Two were out of true by more than 3mm and the splines were soft.

Seller refunded after a fight. Buy from a known supplier and have them trued before fitting.

Had a crank ground and a block decked. Work was excellent, the price was as quoted, and they returned the old parts in a labelled box without being asked.

Chasing a windscreen for a 1967 car with the right maker's mark and date code. Two suppliers quoted; one cannot confirm the code.

Has anyone used a specialist who will guarantee the marking?
